What is Early Childhood Education and Care?

Spring Forward Family Centre has identified a disconnect between pediatric allied health services and Early Childhood Education and Care services hindering children’s development and access to early intervention supports. The first five years of a child’s life is the most rapid period of development in their life time. For this reason the ecec holds the most crucial importance as well as the most significant opportunities to create a lasting positive impactt. Our learning and experiences within our first five years of life lay the foundations for the rest of our lives and it is our every endeavour to support as many children as possible secure strong foundations that aid their lifelong learning journey. We build strategic alliances with Early Childhood Education and Care services, supporting all parties to thrive! Our collaborative partnerships impact our Early Childhood Education and Care partners, their enrolled children and families, and their greater community while sharing resources to improve the Spring Forward experience for our clients. Our Early Childhood Education and Care department generates an integrated approach to developmental outcomes for the children in our community, allowing them to thrive by five! Looking to implement systemic change in both services to generate longevity of a child-centred holistic approach to early development. Our goal is to effectively bridge the gap between our sectors; sharing knowledge, expertise, and referrals for the benefit of the children in our communities.
